Feature Issue:The 9th Working-level Conference in Kagoshima

Asian-Pacific City Summit 9thWorking-level Conference in KAGOSHIMA, the main theme was “Linking together to build earth-friendly cities”,  was held from August 19 to 20, 2011 in Kagoshima City, Japan, and about 200 included representatives of 18 cities from 7 countries participated in the meeting.

Representatives spoke on environmenntal best practices of their cities, released Kagoshima Joint Declaration and so on.

The 9th Working-level Conference will be held in Kagoshima (Japan) from Thursday, August 18 to Saturday, August 20.

The 9Th Working-level Conference will be held from August 18 to 20, 2011. We would like to introduce you the keynote speaker, Conference Program, and Kagoshima City, the host.

APCS secretariat has visited and collected a best practice from one of our members. In this edition, we are going to introduce you the unique “small donation as a lord of the castle system” of Kumamoto City. They have collected donation of 1.6 billion yen (about 19.5 million US dollars). What is their system?
